1) Depression: affects approximately 350 million people worldwide. 16 million American adults reported having at least one major depressive episode in 2015.


2) Anxiety: affects approximately 40 million adults age 18 and older, representing 18% of the US population.


3) Bipolar Disorder: approximately 3% of the adult population in the US is diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Risk of suicide is higher in people with bipolar disorder.


4) Insomnia: approximately 30% of American adults suffer from insomnia, which is a common symptom of many mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).


5) PTSD: approximately 70% of adults in the US report experiencing some type of traumatic event at least once in their lives; 20% of those people develop PTSD
